This was a last minute trip to Block VK-385 with 3 Hell Divers who were competing in the 2014 Temento's Lionfish Rodeo in Louisiana. On board was Alex Fogg, Paul Cozic, and Ryan Saucier. Paul and Ryan were predominantly working on Lionfish while Alex had excluded himself from that part of the tournament and was looking for big game. He found that with a beautiful 48 pound Gag Grouper. He also got a nice African Pompano. Paul and Ryan got plenty of lionfish too. After hitting the 3 Rigs in Block 385, we hit the Blue Dolphin wreck and Platform VK-203. I took plenty of photos and video and even found a small spiny lobster which was left to grow bigger. It was a good day that encompassed 146 miles, 88 gallons of fuel, and 13 hours.
