These 2 fine vessels were deployed by Gulfstream Enterprises, Inc. at no cost to MGFB (Mississippi Gulf Fishing Banks) on April 24, 2006.
The first one is the "Capt Kevin Cuevas Reef", a 48 foot steel hull shrimp boat destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. It was deployed in FH-2 about 8 miles south of Horn Island in 56 feet of water with a water clearance of 28 feet.
The second one is the "Joe Curtis-Mary Landry Reef", a 70 foot steel hull shrimp boat also destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. It was deployed in FH-13 about 10 miles south of Horn Island in 66 feet of water with a water clearance of 36 feet. This vessel had the name "Four Boys NM" painted on the bow and across the stern.
The underwater photos were captured off of video taken on May 28, 2006, about a month after they were deployed. Both vessels are sitting upright and are awesome dives.
