I finally got my Yamaha 300 Engine repaired. It had been down all Summer while I made one good engine out of 2 bad ones. In the end, my costs were around $5k but better than spending $32k on a new Suzuki 300. This was the first trip out besides water testing down the bayou. We went to Petit Bois Island first. Hanna is expecting our new grandson Mako in Decemeber so she and Pam stayed on the Island while myself along with my sons Paul and Luke went after some fish. Brittany and June also came along for the adventure. The DMR and MGFB put out 2 new Pogey Boats in July and I wanted to visit them. However, the visibility was quite poor and the water quality so poor in FH-13 that we ended up going to FH-2 after diving the Mermentau. Luke and Paul were mostly freediving and landed some quality fish. I poked some red snapper, mangroves, and sheepshead on the Corps Barge in FH2. Nothing taken on the Mermentau, all small fish there. It was a good maiden trip on the PrimoFish. Looking forward to some more adventures now.
