This was a trip to Dauphin Island on Thursday, March 31, 2022. A storm had just passed thru the previous night boasting 40 mph+ winds and Luke wanted to take advantage of the 6-9 foot surf. He asked me to go with him and take photos so of course I jumped on board. We left out before 5:30am and arrived as daylight was just starting to crack. The area looked like a war zone with water covered roads, trash cans blown all over the place, a debris littering everything. The surf was indeed up and the rest is shown below. In between the surf photos, I captured some bird and people photos which I posted separately. These people were strangers to me but make interesting photos. Most were collecting shells or driftwood that had been uncovered by the storm.
