This was a trip with my wife Pam to Horn Island to meet up with Paul and Hanna and a bunch of our friends. Since Red Snapper season was closing the next day, I talked Pam into letting me go try for a red snapper at the close in wreck of the Lucky on the way. It really wasn't exactly "on the way" since we went out past the East End of Horn Island about 5 miles and then trekked back to the West End of the 15 mile Island where the crew was hanging out. It was a tad choppy this day but worth the effort as we got to see a sea turtle surface and I did get us a red snapper.
