An opportunity to go fishing with 2 of my 3 sons, Ben & Paul. We started in FH-13 and I could see the water conditions were poor and all we would catch would be red snapper so I wanted to head on out to VK-340. However, my boys were not keen on such a long run with such short days and a moderate chop on the water, so we stayed close, fishing stuff in FH-13, then VK-113, the C-Rig, and FH-1. All we caught were Red Snapper, one Mangrove, and about 3 redfish. Water visibility was poor so I did not get in. Ben got in at VK-113 and said there was no opening in the mid-water. But it was a fun day on the water that encompassed 93 miles, 48 gallons of fuel, and 8 hours.
