This was a trip with Fishermen Luke Szari, his son Luca, friends Wyatt & Jake and Freedivers Zac Cooper & Vince Messina. We just went thru 2 Hurricane scares, Laura passing to the West and Sally making a last second jog to the East. Checking Hilton's Charts, we decided to go try VK340 & VK385 about 50 miles to the Southeast. We wanted to continue to the Shelf but it was a tad sporty so we went West instead and hit MP154 & CA43 coming back in. We had a lot of action but mostly Red Snapper which had a closed season. The water was exceptionally clear which was not good for the Freedivers trying to shoot fish cause they were way down deep and could see them coming. It was beautiful for Scuba Diving and I picked up an AJ and a Scamp Grouper.
