This was a trip to Petit Bois Island with my in-laws, Pat & Peggy Hinman along with Pat's brother Munson and my wife Pam. Also onboard was Hanna and her friend Brittany. We were having a great time but the water was so calm, I just had to make a run South and get some red snapper. Us 3 guys left the girls on the Island and headed South. We stopped at the Mississippi Wreck because someone was already setup on the Bluewing. Lots of small red snapper but nothing large enough to shoot. We then tried the Capt Joe wreck a little further out. Found a nice school in the mid-water but they disappeared after I missed one. The bottom was blacked out so we came back in closer and went to the East and I managed to bag 3 nice ones there. We also got a nice batch of crabs to cook the next day with some of our fish. It was a beautiful day out on the water.
