This was a trip to exchange USM water quality recorders at FH14, FH4, and FH3. My wife Pam ran the boat and did the dive tending. Everything went pretty smooth and the water was surprisingly fairly clear. I saw a couple nice red snapper at FH-3 and even went back down to poke one and bring home for supper. We dodged most of the heavy showers and tried to come back around the East End of Horn Island to avoid the rain but it followed us over there and cut our trip short. But it was a successful day that encompassed 69 miles, 30 gallons of fuel, and 6 hours.
