This was a trip out of Pensacola Florida with my DWM Buddies Tim (Timinator), Brian (Scarface), and Skip (Salty Bones). We were on Timinator's boat, the Southern Spear-It. Our mission was to get Lionfish. Scarface and I were wanting to get on the board for the Emerald Coast Open. Timinator and I teamed up leaving Scarface and Salty Bones to buddy up. We each made 5 dives. A couple were strike-outs but we managed to eliminate 138 fish. Far below the par numbers last year of 500-700 fish per trip. That's a good sign that we are doing some good out there. We didn't see many large fish to target like Mangroves and the Scamp Grouper were small. Plenty of Red Snapper but the government only allows commercial interests to take them year round. I hope you enjoy the video and photos.
