This was a Red Snapper Fishing & Diving trip with Greg Gillespie, his son Guy, Stacy Moseley, Derik Conerly, and Omar Vasquez. We went East towards VK385, making a Dive there but mostly fishing Red Snapper. The weather started out calm but turned windy toward the end of the day and thunderstorms greeted us as we approached home. Guy speared his first red snapper and Greg caught a King Mackerel. I took out some lionfish but did not see the APs we were hoping to find and unloaded my speargun on a LookDown. Surprisingly we did not see any Sea Turtles or Offshore Dolphins, but it was a fun day in the Gulf that encompassed 170 miles, 98 gallons of fuel, and 14 hours.
