This was a trip for 2 donated to the 1st Annual SoSo Strong Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation created in memory of Sophia Myers to help find a cure for DIPG. Cliff Robinson purchased it and finally got things to fall together to make it happen. He brought Danny & David illich along and I added Shaun Waltman who brought his 11 year old son Garron. The Weather was iffy with a strong west wind but held out until late afternoon when it got really rough on us. Fishing pressure was unreal with boats on every spot and apparently we were fishing behind most everyone where there wasn't a boat. We struggled to find quality fish but did catch several red snapper, got teased by a small Cobia, caught some sharks, and saw some dolphins and sea turtles. So even though we didn't find the Trophy Fish, it was a fun day out in the Gulf. Total Trip encompassed 141 miles, 94 gallons of fuel, and 13 hours.
