This was a trip to Horn Island with the USDA checking on the Cactoblastis Moth. Onboard was Stephen Hight and Jim Carpenter who was also accompanied by his wife as well as grandkids Becca and Caitlyn. After work was done, we took some short home schooling time to check out the Shrimp Boat fleet working the south side of Horn Island. It was interesting because usually they don't work daytime and that area until late Fall and early winter for white shrimp, yet here they were. Not accustom to fishing, I hooked Jim up with a Jack Cravelle. It was a nice little fight. Since I was solo, I didn't get video of bringing the fish aboard, but did get the release. I also added some Island pictures at the end.
