This was a trip for MGFB to deploy 4 new FADs in FH-13. This was a new simplisitic design designated as FAD3a, FAD3b, FAD3c, and FAD3d. FAD3a was deployed on the Southern Star, FAD3b was deployed to the top of FAD1 that was deployed on August 10, 2014, and FAD3c & FAD3d were deployed on the newly deployed (June 10) Barataria Bay Pogey Boat. Also on the trip was Kendall Terrell of Bioxi with his son Alex (8). We also caught a few incidental fish topside during the trip. We also stopped by West Horn Island to check out the boats and party. Total trip encompassed 89 miles, 47.6 gallons of fuel, and 10 hours.
