This was a Family Trip to California to see my son Luke who joined the Navy and was stationed in Coronado. Also along was my wife Pam and my son Ben (22) who came from St. Augestine, Florida where he is a Senior at Flagler College. Missing was my son Paul (20) who was freediving in Baja and Costa Rica. While there, we visited with some Family. My wife's sister Penny lives in Ventura and she came down with her sons, Brian and Aidan. We went to Imperial Beach where the boys did some surfing. We also visited the Point Loma Tide Pools. Pam and I did a Whale Watching Excursion too. We also went up to Palos Verdes and spent Christmas Day with my Aunt Clara & Cousin Maurice Voce, from my mother's side of the Family. I made 2 beach dives on this trip, one off La Holla near San Diego, and another at Malaga Cove off Palos Verdes. I could not get hooked up with a boat dive. I got this Mini Map and went in off Marine Room Restaurant. I swam straight out hoping to get lucky and see the wreck but all I saw was the Marine Room at around 130 feet. We also visited the San Diego Zoo and Pacific Park at the Santa Monica Pier and Ben checked out Stoner Skate Park. It was a pretty awesome trip.
