This was a trip to Chicago to see my youngest son Luke (18) graduate from Naval Station Great Lakes Boot Camp. My middle son Paul (20) went with Pam and I as well. We flew from New Orleans to Chicago and rented a car to drive up to Great Lakes which was about 40 minutes north. After the ceremony, Pam, Paul, and I went to Waukegan Municipal Beach and witnessed some Kite Boarders and Wind Surfers enjoying the breezy day. That evening and the next day we went to Navy Pier in Chicago and took a cruise on the Tall Ship Windy. We also visited Pam's brother Tom as well as Rob for an Italian Dinner at Calo Ristorante. We then headed back to New Orleans on Sunday morning.
