Trip to FH-13 and then FH-10 & Horn Island on May 24, 2014© Photos Posted by Mark Miller © Hi-Res Source
This started as an MGFB Dive Monitoring trip but shifted toward an Island trip with friends. On board with me was Pam, Ben, Shaun and Monica Waltman along with their son Garron, and Miriam Porres along with her daughter Amaya. We first visited the Great Wicomico Pogey Boat in FH-13 but visibility was very poor on the structure. However, they caught a few small snapper and Garron caught a nice redfish. We then went in to Horn Island and caught up with Wes and Les Lyons for some fun in the sun. Ben and I went out to FH-10 and caught a few white trout and I made a monitoring dive there and looked at concrete, bay balls, and the cable one antenna debris. It was a fun day that encompassed 79 miles, 39.2 gallons of fuel, and 10.5 hours.
