This was a fishing & diving trip out to FH-7, the MP243 Cutoff, and the MP264 Rig. On board was Todd Cospelich (Diver) and Donald Sipp (Fisherman). Paul and Dalton worked the deck. We started on a Shrimp Boat where we bartered for a few shrimp and then caught some Bonito and Sharks. There were a couple elusive Cobia too. We then went out to some Red Snapper spots to feel some fish pull and on to FH-7 for a quick dive on the Jumbo Barge by Todd and Paul. We then ventured out further to MP243A for a beautiful dive on this Cutoff Rig which comes up to about 110 feet from 208 feet. Then we hit the MP264 Rig for another great dive. Todd bagged 7 Lionfish and we had some really good hookups although most ended up breaking us off. We also had 2 big hammerheads at the boat. It was a very long fun filled day that encompassed 148 nautical miles, 97.2 gallons of fuel, and 15.3 hours.
