This was a Trip by Wesley Lyons of Ocean Springs, MS. He brought along some co-workers, Kelly Cumbest, Chris Hill, and Mike Heidelberg. My son Paul worked the Deck. It was the last day of Red Snapper season for 2012 so of course our goal was to limit on some good sized fish. We went out about 30 miles and finished that task in a relatively short time. We then did a little trolling hoping for Wahoo, but boating some Kings. We then hit some Rigs and caught some live hard tails to see what would hit them and again we only boated Kings and Sharks. Oh, I forgot to mention we snagged a barely legal cobia while hitting the snapper. We ended up limiting out on Kings as well and then searched some tide rips for Mahi Mahi. We found one small school of chickens but we were not able to boat any of them. It was a great crew and a great day on the water that encompassed 99.1 nautical miles, 72.0 gallons of fuel, and 13 hours.
