The "Southern Star" is an 85' Shrimp Boat that was deployed in 76 feet of water in FH-13. At the time of this writing, I do not have any history of the Vessel. Walter Marine deployed the Vessel and had some Video Coverage of the Event by Gurney Productions. David Walter is running for Congress in Alabama, District 1. Scott Gurney, Josh Puga, and Clint went along with me to get a different camera angle. Of course, I had to show them why we deploy these Vessels by fishing a couple nearby structures. Scott hooked into a really nice 21 pound Warsaw right off the bat. We also had a few nice red snapper and redfish that we released, and 2 really nice Trigger Fish that went into the box with the Grouper. Things went pretty smoothly although it took a couple hours for the Vessel to fill up enough to sink. We briefly hit one more reef before heading in. See posted Videos at YouTube.
