I really had too much work to think about fishing & diving, but the Weather was too good to pass up, so we headed out. On board were my Boys Ben (16), Paul (15), Luke (13), and their friends Alec Newton (15), and Devin Nottis (15). We started in FH-13 and checked out the Tiger Shark, the Great Wicomico Pogey Boat, and the Linda Susan. It was amazing to see how destructive a couple weekends of "Open Season" had on these reefs. The visibility was pretty good from the surface to about 20 feet above the bottom. We decided to head to Rig 69, but it was covered with boats so we ventured out to the Murphy Rigs. The Diving was great there and I got to use my Camera. During the day, we sighted 4 Sea Turtles (one of them a large leatherback) and a large pod of dolphins. As far as catch, we ended up with a couple Cobia, a 34 pound King, a Gag Grouper, a Triggerfish, and a few Red Snapper. Coupled with the Diving, it was a long fun filled day going from sunrise to sunset and encompassing 101 miles, 13.5 hours, and 56.4 gallons of fuel.
