This is a Johnson 48 Special. This engine ran great for quite a while. I neglected to lube the lower unit and the gears went out. The lower unit housing is not damaged. I went shopping on ebay for a lower unit and instead bought a Johnson 50 that was not much more money. I thought the parts would be interchangeable on the engines, but there are several differences, so I really don't need this engine. The Power Head is in good shape. This is a long shaft engine and I believe it is a 1990 model. The model number is J48ESLESA, the Serial Number is G02524380. I can be reached at 228-218-9523 - Mark.
