This was a trip to conduct MGFB Dive Monitoring of the Fireboat in FH-2 and the 4-Boys in FH-13. The Crew consisted of 2 of my 3 Sons, Paul and Luke, along with their friend Markiston Blackston. This was one of our first trips since Hurricanes Gustav and Ike came thru the Gulf. As you can see in the pictures, the Storms have definitely brought some good fishing into our area. MB (Markiston) caught his biggest Red Snapper and Paul and Luke both caught their biggest Groupers to date. Since Snapper season is closed, we were tickled with that. The boys got to do some Diving (which they love) and while diving we sighted a nice pod of Cobia. Paul got the itch and would not stop jigging until he caught one. We also hung around after dark to try out the "Green Magnet" which attracted alot of bait. You have to see the Video for that action. It was a good day out on the water encompassing 66.5 Miles, 24.5 Gallons of Fuel, and 12:23 Hours.
