This was initially a trip to conduct some Reef Surveys in FH-2 and FH-13 for MGFB. However, the water was milky and visibility was only about a foot from surface to bottom. Light was not penetrating below 60 feet. A few days earlier the seas were 12-18 feet so a good trip was doubtful, but since conditions now were so calm that we had to try it. The crew consisted of my 3 sons and their friend Hunter Gollott. After a fruitless dive on some Pyramids in FH-13, we fished a bit and had some decent catches considering the conditions. Paul was persistant and landed a nice 36 pound Cobia on the last drop of the day. Great Job Paul! Total trip encompassed 62.5 nautical miles, 27.3 gallons of fuel, and 8:04 hours.
