We were going to my Neice's Wedding in Crystal River, so of course we had to go a day early and visit some Manatees. My Brother-in-law Pat Hinman lives there also, so we stayed with them. They were awesome hosts and Pat took us in his Mako to the Springs. He has a new Suzuki 175 which really impressed me. We visited 3-Sisters first. It was quite crowded and we initially did not see any Manatees. However, as we were departing, 2 Adults and a Youngster came out and circled the boat as if to bid us farewell. We then went over to King's Spring where Luke made his first Cave penetration. The max depth was 48 feet and the entrance was crowded with snapper. The day after the wedding, we headed home and stopped at Fanning Springs about 60 miles to the North. There we got to visit a Manatee up close.
