We had been trying for a while to put together a trip to Horn Island with the families of Luke's Gymnastic teammates. You know how hard it is to get everyone to coordinate their schedules. In the end, the participants only included Luke's teammate's Mike Couy and Preston Duke along with Preston's family - Greg, Trish, Nicole, and Lexi. We went to the east end of Horn to grill burgers and hot dogs and had lots of fun in the sun. Greg had never been red snapper fishing before, so even though red snapper season did not open until the next day, we had to take him for a couple hours to experience it. The fishing crew consisted of Greg, Nicole, Lexi, Preston, Mike, Luke, and Paul. We couldn't take any snapper back, but we had a great time showing him how it is done and we brought a few Trigger Fish home in the process. Some of us returned the next day to take some snapper home, but that is another story.
