This was a Dive Monitoring Trip to the Kay Eckstein Tug Boat and the Gerald Corcoran Reef (Linda-Susan) in FH-13 on November 17, 2007. The Eckstein was damaged by Hurricane Katrina and the GC was deployed after Katrina. Comparative Observations showed the damage of the Eckstein and the success of the GC Reef. Read the MGFB Report for details. The visibility was poor on the Eckstein due to Katrina scouring it into the bottom, However, she is still producing some nice fish as seen in the photos below. The GC needs a little more time, but is coming along nicely. Total trip encompassed 62 miles and 8.5 hours.
