This was Luke's second ever meet. It was the Gym Force Classic and was held a little north of Tallahassee in Beachton, GA. Luke swept thru with 4 Golds, 2 Bronze, and First All-Around! His partner, Preston Duke, also took First All-Around for his division. This goes to show what a great job their Coach Jon Zugg has done. Luke scores were 9.3 Pommel, 9.45 Rings, 9.40 Vault, 8.35 PBars, 8.90 HBar, and 9.15 Floor. Luke's All Around score was 54.55 which was the highest at the meet out of all 67 contestants! I'm still waiting for all the scores to post at Meet Magic
Luke's Grandmother came to support him as well as his Uncle Pat and Aunt Peggy who drove up from Crystal River, Florida. Afterwards we had a celebration dinner at Ted's Montana Grill and then we stopped on the way back at the Florida Caverns State Park for a tour. Both were very enjoyable and highly recommended. Next weekend we are off to Roswell Georgia for Luke's third meet.
