The crew consisted of Joy Prisco, her son Joey, and Joy's Father Joe. My sons Ben and Paul worked the deck. We headed out shortly after daybreak and started with some slow action in FH-13. We continued south working a couple rigs and shrimp boats and ending up in FH-7. Action was steady, but those big fish seemed to elude us and sharks were too plentiful. Several heavy hookups were lost, but we brought home plenty of meat and everyone had a great time. We ended up with 8 red snapper, 3 lane snapper, a flounder, a cobia, and several monster white trout. Also landed were several sharks, bonito, and of course blue runners (live bait). Total trip encompassed 109 miles and 11 hours. This was the second trip for my new Honda 225 since my previous Honda of 5 years blew a Timing Belt Bearing on the June 10 Trip. See Joy's Prevous trips: August 2004 and September 2004.
