This was a paid Charter with Mike Fernette in Venice Louisiana. What can I say except the trip was a big let down. We went to the midnight lump and caught a few bonito. The tuna were not there, not even a blackfin. That's why you don't see any fish pictures. The damage from Katrina was pretty rough getting down there. Mike has a beautiful new 31 foot Triton with triple 250HP Mercury Verados. No electronics yet, but it is a nice fast boat. Hopefully we can go again when the tuna are in. This is the second paid charter that I have made down to Venice with disapointment. No fish and no backup plan to change plans and salvage the day.
