The crew consisted of four eager anglers, Waldemar Larsen, John Knight, Marty McGrath, and Mark Miller. Weather being windy all this year, there was finally a one day window coming on February 22, 2005. We geared up and headed down to Venice where Walde keeps his 27' Triton. We didn't get in the water until 11PM and the fog was being a deterent. It took us 5 hours to get to our destination instead of the usual hour and a half cause we had no radar and no hi-res GPS map chip. Anyway, we fished until 11 or 12 and headed in. Besides the numerous hard tails and bonitos, we bagged a large Black Tip, 2 Big Eye Tuna, 1 Yellowfin, 2 large vermillion snapper, a small king mackerel, and 2 Amberjacks. The water was murky and the bite wasn't real hot, but we were fishing, it wasn't rough, and we were enjoying every second.
