This trip was to do some wreck surveys for MGFB and to take my boys fishing. They also brought their friend Dalton McQueen who was in from Kansas. We stopped at a couple oil rigs too for some snorkeling and rig jumping. Blue water was in close as we hit a heavy weed line 35 miles out that was loaded with bait fish and had cobalt blue water on the south side of it. We also got some great video footage of a sea turtle who was very friendly and insisted in poking his head into the camera lens. It was a great day to be on the water. Total trip encompassed 116 miles and 14 hours.
