This was a sole charter by Stephen Kirkpatrick, world renowned wildlife photographer. Stephen last made a trip with me in May 0f 2003 and it was very rough. Hoping to make it up to him this time, we headed out toward the edge of the continental shelf around Main Pass blocks 225 & 226. It was interesting to see quite a variety of conditions around all these rigs that were so close to each other. Visibility ranged from absolutely lousy to upward of 100 feet. The water was blue and there were flying fish around, but we couldn't find that 200 feet vis we were hoping for. We still saw alot of fish and took a bunch of pictures. Most of mine are below and hopefully Stephen will share some soon after he gets them developed and digitized. Total trip encompassed 150.2 miles and 14 hours.
