Ron & Gracie of Palahatchie, Mississippi, had so much fun on their last trip that they decided on another round of action. Radar showed showers far offshore so we stayed in close, starting in FH-13. We went out toward the Seahorse and Family Love wrecks, but they were covered up with weekend warriors. Tried a couple shrimp boats with no luck and fished the VK20 pipe where Ron caught his first ever Cobia although he was too short to take home. We ventured back thru FH-1 and FH-2 picking up a few more snapper. There was alot of action with most fish being released back to the sea. The take home was 9 red snapper, 1 grouper, 1 king, and 1 trigger. Total trip encompassed 82 miles and 11.5 hours.
